The LDT Competencies have 4 Supra-Badges. Each Supra-Badge has several sub-badges. Each sub-badge is composed of a variety of challenges.

    • Challenge 1:  Conducting a gap analysis to describe the nature of a learning or performance problem and propose a potential instructional and/or non-instructional solution and strategies.​

  • Sub-badge 2: ​Target Population &  Environment

    • Challenge 2: Determine characteristics of a target population and/or environment that may impact the design and delivery of instruction.

  • Sub-badge 3: Analysis Techniques for Instruction

    • ​Challenge 3: Use appropriate techniques to analyze various types and sources to validate content.

  • Sub-badge 4: Analyze Technologies​

    • Challenge 4: Analyze the characteristics of existing and emerging technologies and their potential use.​
